How did you mount your flag? Did you have any trouble getting up test hill? I may take my new 16 there in the near future.

    Nice!

I went there last year with my new '15. I was pleasantly surprised as well. My big take-away was the ability to run in 4LO 100% of the time. I thought the truck felt less burdened and more powerful in the soft sand.

Tire pressure, tire pressure, tire pressure . . . .

Test hill sucked for me only because of the giant moguls (whoops) at the bottom of the hill. My stock suspension didn't care for it at the rate of speed required to make it up the hill!

I went there in 2009 with my Montero Sport and made it up test high by going fast in 4HI. It took several attempts to get up. In 2012 I went with my Wrangler and when I hit one of the moguls I came down so hard it broke the fuel pump. I had to be towed off the hill and out of the park. So I will NOT be speeding up the hill in my new Tacoma. How were you able to make it up in 4LO? I wouldn't think you would have enough speed.
