    Got some things done.

Stripped and cleaned the tundra axle housing.

Ordered the ruff stuff 9" truss and cut it up to fit the tundra housing.

Used Corey's Plate as a fixture to hold the axle housing straight.

Corey did weld the truss for me and it was still straight when I removed it from the plate. the bolts where real easy to pull out of the mounts I made. I will be adding some thicker plate to the back of the housing to beef it up since they are so thin.

I started on the parts for the fuel cell.

Finished the fuel cell filler plate. I still need to extend the fuel pump bracket and sending unit once I drop my stock tank. I want to use the new fuel pump I have and other parts instead of the junk yard parts that came with the tank. I used Steel It black to paint the plate.

A little update. I tore my calf at work running to stop a machine that started having issues about a month ago and I'm barely able to walk around on it again. That's why I haven't worked on the truck stuff. I did get my shocks ordered and they won't be here until January. Fox takes a lot of time. I did get 2.5 16" coil overs with DSC and 2.5 18" triple bypass with remote resi. Now that snow is moving in it takes away from my OT that helps pay for parts. This year has been a total bust. Hopefully soon I'll be back at putting together the trailing arms. For now I can only do what I can. See ya guys around. I'll post cool stuff again once I'm healed. Peace.

Shit happens bud. I'm not down, just figure I give a little insight why nothing has gotten done in a while. Everything heals eventually. Before you know it I'll be posting pics of the trailing arms.

Yeah no problem bud. I spend most of my time on IG now. Best way to get ahold of me. Good luck, I know those gussets are not a perfect fit but they are workable.

Well I'm not going to instasnapfacechatgram to follow you but you're still my hero.
You probably just tore your calf to slow things down so I didn't have to be quite as embarrassed comparing your initiative to mine.
I know you'll be back at it soon since you don't even know the meaning of the word "quit"

Bummer about your calf, sorry man.

But if it makes you feel any better, the slow down in your build thread allowed me to read all 113 pages of it tonight (first time entering your build thread).

    It's been a pleasure.

No physical therapy. But after a few trips to the gym and focusing on my calf I’m back to normal again. Sucks getting old and sitting long hrs in a machine. I can’t just get down and sprint. I need to warm up and stretch before sprinting. Lesson learned.

Now trying to find motivation for working on the truck. In a way I kind of want to wait until my shocks get here to double check my bolt holes in the trailing arms before I weld them up. When I designed my trailing arms it was a lot of research but it would be better to double check my measurements with my shocks. I’ll take this time to the end of the year spending it with my wife and kids. They been very patient with this build. Hopefully once the shocks get here I’m motivated again to finish it. Happy thanksgiving and Christmas to all. See ya in January.
