    Feels like winter is moving in sooner then I expected so I switching up what I'm going to buy next. I ordered my wheels today and then tires are next. I also been getting better so far. Been taking mild pain killers and taking as many breaks at work as I can. Going to try and get some work done on the truck this weekend.

    The build is going to take a turn.

    So I think I locked up the engine trying to force it to get home. @lotsoftoys told me it's highly likely from what I described to him. But when it died out it was outside in the drive way. But a work buddy of mine had a good idea to get it in the garage. We strapped the spare to the back of my cage and with his truck pushed it up my steep driveway into the garage :thumbsup: to him. Cage was fine. I only smashed my license plate lights, not a big deal.

    I got the truck ready for the swap.

    I removed my bed cage, front glass, grill, lights and bumper so I dont damage anything and make for room to work with.

    Once I read up on things then I'll start with removing the engine and fabing up new motor mounts for the 3.4L.

    I've never done a swap but I've replaced a long block on a 85 Chevy S10 with just a clinton book and no help. So i'm capable but I don't know everything. Feel free to comment and add any info you may.

    I'll be logging everything I'm doing here to keep track and for ppl to stop me from doing something stupid. Now it's on to the engine swap with the wives approval. I will be getting back to the LT build when the time is right.

    Maybe consider 4x4 now that it's down...... thoughts?

    At least do the 4x4 trans and tcase with the 3.4 swap. That way you just need the front diff and spindles to finish out your 4x4 swap but that an be done later on.

    So I just pitched the 4X4 idea to Barb and she just told me she wants a dog and doesn't want to wait for me to get the bull dog. I said ok and Then she said ok on the 4x4. So time to save up the cash for a donor truck. thanks for the support everyone.
