Thanks. This stuff. I was pretty impressed with the finish. (Satin) now how well it holds up I don't know. This was kind of an experiment. Any auto part store should have it.

A couple of weeks ago I bought a fuel line and when I went to install it the line was a little short, around a foot and a half. So I bent back my original fuel line added a filter and made another fuel line to end in the original spot. I couldn't use the accrual bracket that came with the filter so I just used a hose clap. Not the greatest looking thing but it works. Good thing my charcoal canister is over the tank or else this would of never worked. I don't think it will be an issue with the location but I needed to start somewhere. I'll move it if it because an issue.

As long as it's not soaking up heat, it should be fine. I understand the 4 cyl was mounted right next to the block?

Yeah it is under the intake where it went into the head. So the new filter isn't far from the original spot.

What are all the hoses and gizmos above the filter?

That is a great question:notsure: I don't know exactly what they are but I know they run to the charcoal canister to the rear.

So to get the rubber piece off you have to remove the steel sleeves.

I drilled two holes and then used my jigsaw to cut it out.

^ What T-case you going with?

I did the same things you are now doing when I installed the Inchworm 4.7 Lefty. I made my shifter after starting with the J shift kit from Marlin Crawler. Works killer.

You need part #'s for the shift boot?

Here is the part number for the OEM 4x4 console: 58802-04080-B0 This is for the grey or Dark Charcoal.

Below is a pic of my trans just before install and the shifter once I finished that.

    Hope this helps you.

I'm going with a TCase that came with the donor truck I'm getting everything from. I believe it's the jshift. I just asked for the TCase that is for the ADD set up without the switch. And getting a ADD front diff. I'm not familiar with the ADD set up but I'm going to have to research it soon. Yes if you have the boot part number that would be great.

Yes I need the grey console thanks.
