Well kind of. I didn't remove my old tabs. I left them in and got some 1/4 square steel cut it in 2" lengths then welded them on the original tabs. Less work same out come. That quote on top of yours is how I did it. You can see what I mean.

Nice. Damn, wish I would have been able to work that trick, I bought the TC gussets. They are harder to install then?

Yes. You have to drill out the old ones and prep the surface for new. Make sure they are lined up right. Then weld back on. I would ask the other LT guys if there is any trick or just align and weld.

Woke up early this morning and stated cycling the front. Here is full bump. Not bad. It can go up a little more but you really have to force it.

How much room on the shock and what bump stop are you using? Keep in mind upward force will be a lot more when you are airing it out. So make sure the shock cannot bottom out or that's gonna get expensive real quick.

I have a Daystar bump from poly performance. There is about 1/8 gap of shaft exposed before the factory fox bumps hit. How much of shaft should I leave exposed 1/4", 3/8"? They shaft never bottoms out with the fox factory bumps. You should come and look at it. :D wink wink
    My bumps.

I see you reinforced the cam tabs, but any thoughts on making them "taller" too? Or is that not really a concern and the only concern is them getting bent over?

From my understanding the way @lotsoftoys explained it to me, it's more of a prevention of bending the tabs over. Some guys just run a bead behind the tab to keep it from bending over too. But to be honest I've never had it happen to me. So I'm staring like this if I run into an issue I'll address it at the time. The pieces of steel I put there are taller then the original tabs. Now if it's better or not I don't know. We shall see.

You might want to ask FOX what their landing tolerances are. Just an opinion but 1/8" seems to be cutting a bit close in my mind.

Started early this morning to try and get as much work done. I cleaned off the old bolts from the lower ball joints to the spindles. Then tried reusing them. Not a good idea. As I was torquing them down to 105. like the book says I broke a bolt. FUN! Good thing a had the welder. it made pulling the bolt out easy. I'm just going to have to wait until next week to finish the suspension.

@CoTacoTRD your right about not having enough bump stoppage (if that's even what it's called). I haven't called fox yet but I ended up adding a 3/16" spacer and raised the LCA until the truck frame was off the jack stands and I jumped in the engine compartment. It didn't bottom out the shock but got pretty close. Those bumps do have some give. So I'll end up adding a 1/4" spacer in there to play it safe. I'll also call fox to double check on monday.

I also grounded down the steering stoppers on the lower ball joints.

Maybe I should get more sleep instead of waking up at 330 in the morning. The book says 55.
