    For later

Also building a new clamp for the tube notcher. The last one had to much play in it.

After a few shim here and there. I got the notcher squared and in line. Pretty happy with how it turned out. There is a little gap on the square but it’s because of a little piece of metal that wasn’t cut completely. A few rubs from a file and it will be good to go.

I bought a HF when I did my sliders back in the day. It couldn’t do the notches I needed for my bumper with that notcher. I used the clamp off the HF one and built a notcher . I need one that can do larger angles. So out of scrap metal at work I made one.

The screw part of the HF clamp was worn out and sloppy. So I figure I re build a clamp that is stronger and I can repair easy if the treads go bad on the bolt and nut I used. That’s what happened to the HF clamp. The bearing housing and shaft I bought from summit. That isn’t HF. So in the end this notcher is all home made now except the shaft and housing.

Oh ok. Yeah I wasn’t to sure about wiring. If those models have the same wiring. But the 95-00 tail lights are 30.00 cheaper too. I had enough problems with wiring I didn’t want to chance it. That’s why I got the tail lights in the first place was trying to figure out my wiring issue.
