I’m going to relocate my front shock resi. So I made new mounts and welded them to the coil bucket gusset. This location is so much better then on the frame. I never liked them on the frame because they look like a target for something to hit them. Good thing Tim isn’t to far from me. He’s going to get new hoses, oil change and new valving.

Another thing off the list is relocating the cab fuse box. It was in the way of the A pillar tube. So I made a bolt on bracket to push it back 4”- 5”. Now it’s completely out of the way. Time to start designing the A pillar and engine cage tie in. This is going to be slow going.

Yup. I just need to remove the resi to do that. Two hose clamps is the only thing holding the resi.

Some more stuff done for now. I got one pipe in. Interesting how it wants to sit in there. Driver side has a greater angle then the passenger side. Plus it sits better with the tube at a slight angled down instead of straight horizontal across the dash because of the cluster wires. I also made a temporary support for the passenger side dash bar and cut off everything that was in the way of where the tube is going to go. I’m planing on putting a flat plate on the end of where I cut it and placing a plate on the cage so I can bolt the bash bar to the cage. All this is going to happen on the driver side too.

No, this is a hands in the air ride :D IF you need something to grab you'll have a 5 point harness to hang onto. I will put a couple of handles on the cage to replace the stock ones.

How are you bending the PVC? Using a bender and heat? Or will just a bender do it? I always love your PVC method for mock ups.

I used to just use a heat gun and heat it. But it took forever because the heat escaped. So I built a hot box to heat it. It drop the time in half. It is just a 1/2 plywood box notched out for the pipe and lined with foil paper. I also just made this larger angle guide out of a meter stick with a bolt and wing nut. I set that angle to the pipe. Hold it with gloves and just let the pipe cool.

Got some more work done. Doesn’t seem like a lot but it takes a lot of time bending and re-bending pvc over and over again to get it right. Good thing about pvc you can just re heat it to adjust it to how you need it. The pic with the blue circle is a bend that I got wrong and had to redo it.

@Cr250jumper im noticing that my B pillar tube is going to land right over the trailing arm mount. Does the B pillar need to be welded to the frame? I would think so. Or can I run it to the floor tube in the cab?

How high will the link mount be? Mine lands at the same spot too but the cage lands even with the top of the frame so still plenty of room for the link mount, can see here on the left side. But yeah it should land to the frame somehow
