Ok. I must suck at searching but I cannot find the answer to this. I have all the wires for a simple camera install. What I don't know how to do is, how do I pop off/unplug the blank that is on the tailgate handle? It may be elementary to you so please don't laugh. I just don't want to screw anything up.

I have a "wireless" back up camera. Wireless is the signal to the display, it still needs power.

For the camera, I tapped the reverse lamp behind the driver's side tail light.

This one I have came with a cig lighter plug and a hardwire kit. I hardwired using the reverse lamp wire that I tapped into under the driver's side threshold.

Find a good ground point and use terminal rings rather than strip the wire and wrapping it around the screw.

I didn't mount it in the tailgate. It mounted with the license plate screws
