    Hey guys!

I'm thinking of de-badging my truck, but I'm not sure if I will black them out and don't know which ones. The badges on my tailgate are torn up, so I'm for sure taking them off for now.

Do you think the 'nite-shade' paint will work for the emblems? Haha
What stuff do you use to put the badges back on?
And when you took off the badges, did the adhesive glue residue come off fairly easily or did you have to use something like Goo-Gone or something?

I might even take all of them off and find a set of the second Gen Taco's, which are sweet.
    Thanks!

to put back on, 3M makes double sided automotive tape. And yes it will take Goo-Gone to get rid of the residue.

yeah the 3m tape will work for sure ive done it twice now. Also WD40 will work to get the residue off and if the emblems have been on there for awhile it will take a couple of days for the sun to fade the area where the emblems were .

    Ya you're right.
I just took the 'Tacoma' part off of the Tailgate, and it's really white where the emblem use to be. So you're saying that it should fade and look normal right?
I got rid of all the residue too
