If you are looking to do a mild level to bring up the front and are a budget diy-er please read on...

I have been wanting to level out the rig a little since I picked it up last year. My stock rake was just under 2" which I think is about the norm. After some research I ended up installing front spacers: 1/4" Passenger and 1/2" Drivers from @HeadStrong Off-Road (quality product!)

Final numbers with driver in seat and 3/4 tank gas:
    LF 35-7/8
    RF 35-7/8
    LR 36
RR 36-1/8 -- i imagine this is because of the gas tank but of course these numbers will change with fill level and passenger load. I think it came out great for the avg load though.

    Pros:
    - cheap until I decide to put in new struts down the road.
    - I can see it....and I like it. Type-A FTW!

    Cons:
    - compressing the spring sucked
    - may need to have alignment checked but marked and returned cam bolts and test drive was a-ok.
    - The drivers side studs needed to be extended so I purchased those as well, hence the need to deal with the spring compression.

If you don't plan to make any major front end changes this might be an option for you. I like to work on things and this was a new venture so I enjoyed the work and the outcome. I would do it again.

    Cheers!

Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road really explains it well. I inquired about a 1/2" spacer lift that would give you 1" total lift. You pretty well did the same thing, except for the Taco lean!

    Pics???????

It's raining but I can get a picture when it breaks. I should check the headlights (and fogs) though minor it's a great thought!

Not sure why you would need to touch the cam bolts to remove the strut assembly.

I'm on 2.5" lift and I still think my headlight shine too low. Toyota aims them too low to begin with.

That is a great way to lift and trim the truck. I see quite a bit of people going with this especially on the pro's just to level the truck out some while not affecting the ride and the wallet. :D
