Simple Scangauge II Mounting Mod

    so im a cheapskate and didnt feel like spending money on the blendmount, so i was looking around on here for different ways to mount the gauge and i got a similar idea from another member, and this is what i came up with..........

    go to the dollar store and buy two tape measurers...

    then, take the clips off the back and use 3m double stick tape to hold the clips to the scangauge.......

    then just hide the cable in the headliner and here is the final result!!!!

    it seems to hold nice and tight, i dont know how it will hold up though. that tape is tough shit so i would assume it will hold on for a good while.

    EDIT: Its been almost 2 years and the ORIGINAL double sided tape is holding as strong as day 1. this is through a 115 degree summer and a -7 degree winter!

    thats a good idea...but in the summer it will probably fall off, i mounted like a 3 charger thing, idk what to call it haha, but i used double sided tape to mount it and it fell off after a few weeks from the heat. it still sticks but it falls off randomly
