Simple truck bed slides...

Amazon has a wide variety of these rollers. They are called appliance roller or appliance sliders.

 

This is a good idea if the plywood itself won't slide well. I like it. Too bad I can't get a 3'x5' piece and make the whole slider out of this material.

 

I understand the questioning.

Imagine I have 6 different bags lined up from front of bed to back and I want to quickly grab the one deepest in real quick. Rather than flipping open the bakflip, climbing up and grabbing the bag, I could quickly pull out the slide and get the bag.

Plus I'm kind of bored and need to make something.

 

damn. Almost. I could get a 3/4"x24"x48" HDPE sheet delivered to my house for $120. No pieces longer than that.

Thanks for the link. I'm considering attaching a thin shit of this to each of my BamBed slides. Any thoughts on a way to attach or glue the HDPE sheet to plywood?

 

Wood screws or T-Nuts and bolts. My choice would be T-nuts and bolts.

F-that! Looking at close to a $1k to get shipped to Hawaii. Plywood it is! thank you for the links though. Amazon has 4 foot lengths but I think that's the longest.
