I've got a 08 Tacoma with some aftermarket headlights that I don't like that much. The projector low beams work well but the high beams are useless.

In town the low beams and fog lights work fine, I'm interested in what you guys have done to deal with high speed back roads driving. I'm talking about either buying some replacement headlight housings with some monster high beams, or doing something like a bright box and running some sort of auxiliary light off of them. Do you guys have any suggestions or brands to look into?

I just want to be able to flip my high beams and see what's far down the road! Thanks.

Get an LED light bar with a relay harness and use the high beam as a trigger for the relay.

That's what I did and if you get a decent quality bar, it will far out-perform anything you can do with your high beams. I have the Caliraised LED bar in mine and it's triggered off the high beams.

Sounds like a plan. Who sells relay harnesses?

You can get everything in a kit from Caliraised.

Thanks, caliraised's site is pretty unclear that their light bars come as a kit with the wiring harness. Had to watch a video of theirs to find out that all of the bars come with the kits. They look really nice and the price is right.
