I ended up going with a Hellwig helper spring to help with the load of the camper shell. Without the spring the truck was nearly level but with the helper I have about 1 3/8 take.

In terms of ride quality a Single AAL will ride the same as stock right?

    With weight yes, unloaded no.

I have installed many and currently have a 1 leaf. The icon 3 leaf is progressive and makes for much smoother ride even when unloaded.

The 1 is rigid and is designed for more weight, its old school but they work.

Last point, only put AAL on new packs, it only acts as 6 month bandaid on anything older than 1-2 years.
