Prerunners 6 lug. have 2.7L's not 2.4L's. But if your going with that big of a tire size I would go with the 4.0l.

Yeah what the heck haha you wanna run a 12 inch lift and 38's with a 2.4l?? sure it'll push em but not anywhere very fast or powerful....plus IMO the truck would look too small for the wheels/lift combo

First off, why the hell would you want to put 12in of lift on a 4 cylinder?

And then run 37's or 38's????

And if you were to upgrade to a DC 4.0l V6 4x4 and throw on 9in of lift and run 36s, you will need to regear.

Either way, both ideas are daft.

If you need 4 wheel drive, then get a 4x4 or do a conversion on your current Prerunner. At the most, do 6in of lift.

If you want a SAS, then skip the lifts and go straight to that. When you do an SAS, it will have to be lifted regardless.

Do what ya want to do, but with the 2.7 and 35+ inch tires, it's gonna strain.
