Single cab stepside v6 4x4 5spd???

    Single cab stepside anyone know much about these ?
    Did they offer a 5spd 4wd 3.4ltr option?

    Reserected from the dead.
    I've only come across a few standard cab v6 models. they were pretty rare. I'm sure the step side version would be even rarer...If it existed at all.

    I don't think it would have been possible from the factory. The V6 option was killed in the single cabs in 98. 95.5-97 you could get a single cab v6 but in 98 is changed to 2.4 and 2.7(4wd) only.
    It looks like the stepside was introduced in 2000. So there was no overlap. Its not impossible to swap a stepside bed onto a v6 single cab. But it was never a factory option based on the years they were available.

    Thanks for the insight do you think a single cab 5spd. V6 4x4 was ever a option ????

    Yes, Single Cab 4x4 was option in 95.5 to 97.
    The One on the right is a 97 with the 3.4, Manual, and had a factory E locker that was retrofit in.
    The one on the Left is a 98 with the 2.7, Manual, and has since had a ARB air locker added along with many other things.
