    Love mine.

Keeping it simple. Just got shipping notice on my ARB bumper. Thule bed rack is next. 5100's at some point. SWB = win.

I would think the ONLY con to the single cab is the limited space, other then that it rocks, by the way aloha and welcome to TW!

I was actually gonna get a single cab myself, but in retrospect I'm glad I went with an Access Cab instead. I don't know what I would do without the extra space the AC provides...granted I could use the bed to keep stuff, but still...

I went from 05 AC to 08 RC. Both 4 cyl 5 speed with buckets. They have the cargo net that hangs from bed cleats for temporary hauling and also there is a smittybuilt thing that hangs behind the seats that has all kind of compartments on it. Lovin the downsize myself. Extra mpg, bit of extra pwr being smaller, cheaper tires (had 18s now 16" oems) & robbed all my added on goodies before trade-in. I also have one of those turtle things that go on top of the car racks that can act as weather resistant cargo space in the bed too or you could always add shell or tonneau cover. All good.......

I'm in a love/hate thing with mine. I'm a big guy so it gets really tight and I want more space, but I don't think you can beat the performance of the regular cab, I can go so many places with it, its really light, and its easy to park when I'm mall crawlin. Plus I think a pick up truck looks best in the pick up's original form, the regular cab.

I drove an 82 reg cab for 25yrs before getting the 05 AC and the 82 was cramped compared to the 08 reg cab. 08 is much better on room. My 82 probably wasn't much different than the 1st gen tacomas as far as room in the reg cab.

I love the look of your truck man, it's awesome. . . BTW did you sell that truck cap you had on the truck? I've been looking for one that's not too outrageously priced and driving distance away.

    Love mine!

I have no chilluns, nor will I ever, so space is not a consideration. I invested in a UWS toolbox for secure storage - there is even enough room for my luggage on longer trips...bucket seats, MT and cruise control were all musts for me. I had to really seek out a truck with buckets and MT, and the cruise control I just added myself.

It's really not bad with a passenger. I have bucket seats in mine, so the arm rest helps out for comfort. A bench seat would probably honestly suck. The second generation regular cab Tacomas (05 and up) do have a lot more room then the first generations like mine. The second gens are wider and have more leg room, so with a passenger it should be more comfortable.
