Not fully. But, it somehow worked it's way loose and is sitting at an angle in the stack on the pax rear side suspension.

How many things do I need to remove to get to the springs and realign the stack? Tire, wheel, suspension parts?

Just hit it with a rubber mallet and re torque u bolts. Check center pin too. All you need to do is remove wheel

Sounds like your retainer clips are broken/missing (see pic). That'll just happen again unless you get that taken care of.

Might not be a bad time to just replace your 20 year old springs and U-bolts.

def check that center pin. I just got new springs and it was easy to move the overload spring. Needed to tighten down the center pin nut and good to go.

uh... just going to throw this out there for those who may have not worked with leaf springs before.

If you're going to remove the center pin, two important things:
    They are considered non-reusable.
Put a clamp or two on the leaf pack near the center of the pack before you remove the center pin nut.

New center pins all come way long for a reason. The leafs will spread out once the pin is removed, and it's a pain to get them all back together. You will have to cut to down once you have the new pin in.

You asking if the ones pictured are OEM, or if you should replace with OEM?

Top ones are OEM, yes. The clamps right near the center of the leafs is aftermarket though. That's a clamp I used to help reduce axle wrap. Not something I'd recommend to replace your missing/broken retainer clamps though. You need to allow the leafs to move relative to each other when the suspension moves. A clamp prevents that.

But if you're asking if you should replace with OEM, then that's up to you. Genuine OEM is rather expensive. There's a company called General Spring that make good OEM replacement springs, just do a search for there here and you'll see a lot of folks recommend them.

For almost the same price as OEM from the dealer, you could get the Deaver J59 springs shown in my pic, too.

parts.toyota. com list a single spring at around 900, for that cost you should look at a deaver spring which run stock and lift springs. I had spoken with alcan springs in december and can build to meet your height and load needs.

I have tried dorman and general spring oem. Both only make the left side leaf spring... i tried to cheap out, with both sets ended hitting bump stops pulling into park lots within a month with only a camper shell and my tool kit
