i say single. IMO dual only looks good on muscle cars. however, WW firefighters side exit duals on his 2nd gen looks pretty good so i guess it's not so bad. but dual staright pipes on a tacoma, that looks lame. esp when the pipe hanger get messed up and your looking @ the exhaust of the person in front of you bouncing around on the highway... anyone have pictures of underneath their trucks of the dual exhaust? Has anyone had any clearance problems with the driver side exhaust pipe? I went to my muffler shop in town to ask about getting dual exhaust and the mechanic told me that when the truck bed has heavy loads in it the exhaust piping may rub and potentially bend on the rear suspension? Has anyone had problems with their dual exhausts?

I have a single, with a dump after the axle. I chose single because everyone and their mom has dual exhaust (at least in Hawaii) and I'm never one to follow a crowd or even look like I'm following.

Single exhaust possibly with dual after the axle, at least i considered that with the tips coming out side by side under the bumper, not a fan of the opposite sides exhaust on tacomas but thats just my opinion

it looks redneck to me. ..and, as far as i'm concerned, also reduces the resale value of your truck. when i was looking at trucks to buy, i stayed away from the ones that had aftermarket exausts because i know the only reason anyone would have them is because they like the sound when they romp on the skinny pedal. ...that means unnecessary wear ..aka "ragged out"

so, unless you have exaust ports on both sides of your engine, stick with a single.

California says horse emissions are too high. They don't make true dual exhaust anymore unless you have headers. Good luck getting it smogged. lol
