Thanks for saying that. I am sure there is an actual more technical explanation but that was the jist of what I understand. By the way, there are some v6s that sound meaner than ours, but are considerably weaker in power! Like my '86 Camaro I had when I was young had a smaller 2.8 v6 with a measly 135HP, but this thing had a better growl. Hell even one of those Astro Vans from the 80s sounded cooler than ours. And even the 3.5 v6 in my 4rx has a quieter, yet far more muscular sound than my truck's 3.4! Interesting stuff but highly subjective.
One of my old buddies in here told me the 3.4 Taco v6 sounded like a giant hoover because it is so well-balanced a motor, IE smooth. I tend to believe him.

I know this is SUPER old but I'm hoping it'll pay off to atleast ask. Whered you pick this dual exhaust up at?? Pretty much exactly what I'm looking for and I cant seem to find it on Flowmaster or MF.

Smart. You being 4x4 that tuck helps with angle/departure stuff. I did the same to mine way back in '09. But I did it cause it looks better close to the body.

Talk about a throwback. It was a custom job at my local muffler shop, they used a single in dual out flowmaster 50 but all custom piping.

I’ve long since been running a single exhaust.
