    The one in 2007 was 330 ft deep, but the one in 2010 was only like 100 ft deep and 66 feet wide.

    This was due to massive flooding from the tropical storm that hit down there. Sewer leaks and other underground service pipes can cause them too...If the pipes collapse or whatever...

    I saw an ariel photo from the sinkhole- It almost looked photo shopped. Reminded me of the Fantastic 4: Silver Surfer movie....
