    Thanks for all your support!

Still have a LX so watch that slow build

I've never done a walk around about my build so what's better than doing it at SEMA? Check it out...

I'm really excited to be the first pic of Motor Trend's SEMA article!!!!

Really honored to be on Adventure Rigs Magazine premiere issue (released at SEMA) both online and in print!

Check my blogspot to see the details on cost and pics. I put it there so I can update the post in a single location vs multiple sites. Thanks so much for your support!

I worked with Santa Margarita Toyota and was honored to build this truck for them. They let me pick everything and named the truck too!

Yes you may have seen my videos or my Taco somewhere on the internet.

I purchased HardShellTaco in March 2017 but it wasn't a hard shell till months later.

I seriously was trying to minimize my mods to very very basic mods but you know how that goes?

I try to keep up my mods here but it can get overwhelming. Check the last of my posts of this thread for the latest update or check out my YouTube channel
https://www.youtube.com/robdaman. I have most of my mods that I've done there.

got the windows tinted. Air 80 ceramic on the front and back windows. CTX 30 on the front windows. close match on the side profile and tons of heat rejection which i look for.

How do you like the Air 80? I've been wanting to put that on the windshield to help with long drives, but I'm hesitant after reading a lot of easily broken windshield stories.

so far so good. it's VERY light in shade. As with many tints if you wear polarized sunglasses you will see some rainbow effect but it's not too bad. At night it's clear too. No strange like refractions. I've had 50% ceramic no name tint as well as 40% Huper Optik Ceramic and Air 80's heat rejection is pretty good. We haven't had a hot day yet.

what are the broken windshield issues? never read about that.

Oh the windshield crack issues. I was thinking the tint having some effect.

I noticed my windshield catches more splatter of bugs and dirt than my other cars going the same route.

My lifted titan once hit a rock and went from a star to a crack within a few minutes. any star shaped damage can be repaired easily but a crack will need replacement.

There's also a glass protector that came out. no idea on costs though. http://www.clearplex.com/

Got my Gator Trax tonneau cover. The instructions weren't that great but I found a video that helped a lot more. I need to fasten things down tighter but overall it's nice. I used to have this on my Titan and liked it.

Today with the help of my oldest son, we installed Slybracket's front plate mount

I've had my personalized plates for a few years but a little over 2 years ago I got them changed to black plates.

I like your idea! I'll consider doing my own vinyl wrap project as well but will probably seek some professional help from **********.

I hit up the same guy that I bought the first wooden knob but asked him to make one to my specs.

    I freaking LOVE it!

I never did before but it was either wood or delrin. metal knobs are nice and weighty but are awful on a cold or hot day.

Sweet early model! E30s are money pits, but I love them. I have an 87 325is and my dad has the same as well. I recently just gave mine to my brother when I moved down to SoCal and I miss it all the time.
