Hey Now! My 2006 Taco has been sitting for 5 years and gonna get it running.
I ran it a bit every year here and there but not this or last year. Put 25 L with stabilizer in it last year but think I need to take all gas out before I start it again.
I've read about using the pump by jumping the relay but Might that Damage the Pump running the old gas through?
Can you siphon out before the pump somehow? or connect separate pump to drain without running main pump?

There's not any good way to get a hose down the filler neck on modern vehicles by design.

Your not gona hurt the pump by using it to pump old gas out, if the gas is than bad then the tank should probably be dropped, cleaned, and the pump replaced anyway.

I would just use the built in pump, and pump it down. I don't see how doing it once will hurt anything. If you get a blocked suction screen, you can deal with that later.

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
Use the pump to pump it out.

Maybe try starting it and see if it will run. I've put stabilizer in gas and started the car up a year and a half later. Ran it down to 3/4, then topped off with non-ethanol, car ran fine and just gassed up as normal after that.
Depending on which stabilizer you used and if you used it correctly, it could still be usable up to 2-3yr later.

Agree. If you've neglected it for 5 years giving it a go to see if it runs won't hurt anything any more than it may already be.

Thanks for the ideas here, especially driving around and letting someone steal the bad gas!
It has a full tank right now so I think I'll take out 5 gal and replace.

Would blasting some quick start or carb cleaner in past the throttle help on the first try?

    Shouldn't be needed.

And don't use carb cleaner in a throttle body. Only throttle body cleaner.

I wouldn't spray anything in there to try to help the first start. I would just try to start the dang thing. All this prep work and brain storming the worst possibilities would be a waste if it started and ran fine on the stabilized gas.

    Just following up here,
So I jumped the COPN relay and used the EFI 20 Amp fuse to shut pump on and off to drain out the full tank leaving 15%. Then put in some high octane plus sea foam and after one cold hard sounding crank it fired up! I turned on the fan/heater to see if it was working and smelled rubber
burning right away. Shut er' down and could see a bit of a haze around under the hood.
Step 2 now is checking the idler pulleys and tensioner as the belt was pretty hot.
