Siri voice to text stopped working.

Morning Guys, I have a 2020 Tacoma that no longer will send a voice dictated text msg, when I press the Siri button, Siri keeps asking me to send one of the predefined test message from the menu. I don't use the feature very often so I'm not sure when it stopped working but I do know my iPhone update to iOS 16.5 a few weeks ago, no clue if that are related. My searches in Tacoma world and with google haven't proved helpful.
Any clues on where I should look next?

I don't know for certain, but something that might be worth trying: on the phone, forget the Bluetooth pairing with your Tacoma, then reboot your phone, and finally re-pair with the Tacoma. Perhaps that might be enough to kick it into working. I've had similar issues after iOS upgrades with other Bluetooth products like Sena helmet communication systems and this method has worked there.

 

I wonder if there’s a way for me to upgrade the Tacoma AirPlay software to match? I bought the truck ~90 days ago and there’s a ton I don’t know ‍♂️

 

Same situation here. 2020 Tacoma Off Road Pro, JBL sound, no modifications. This happened in November 2022, and only texting options are the default 10. No dictation available anymore. I am wondering if it had to do with Entune being obsoleted?
