    3yr for $99 Success!!
For 3 vehicles in one phone call

I have all accounts aligned to end on the same day. Makes the annual conversation with them more productive.

Two weeks ago I cancelled my 2015 Wrangler and 2019 F250.
I had called and tried to get $5 per month. Rep didn't listen, talked over me, kept offering deals I had already told him I didn't want, pissed me off...
    Chatbot was no help either.
So, I cancelled and told them to cancel tacoma once free trial ended.

I got a email survey and slammed them.

So, I start getting emails attempting to get me to start dialog. Ignored them all.
Then they started calling. I would answer and hang up as soon as they identified themselves.
This morning (@ 2 weeks after cancelling) an indian sounding woman with an american name called. Said she was from sirius and calling about the survey I submitted. I hung up.
She called back. I told her 3/99 on all three vehicles was the only plan I would consider. All or none.
Took one or two "brief holds" for her to make it happen.

With fees and taxes that plan came to $129.xx per vehicle or @ $3.58 per vehicle per month.

Maybe this will help someone else obtain the elusive 3/99 sirius deal?
    YMMV

$129 per vehicle is $10.75 per vehicle a month?

    It's 36 months of service...not 12.

I would never give any amount of money to such a scummy company but whatever floats your boat

If you don't like sirius then don't subscribe.
I'm in full agreement that they suck.
This thread was simply about the 3/99 deal that nobody seems to be able to actually get.

Good for you - satellite radio sucks around here in the summer when trees are in full bloom. So shitty, they need to pay me :smash:

I'm a slacker/live-x subscriber. Love that I can download stations and listen in no-service areas.

Good job negotiating with sirius. I stopped listening to them back in 2010, and won't be back. I just don't agree with their business model.

LED interior, license plate, and fog lights. More to come.
Good to know. I've been arm twisting them into the 6 months for $30 for years. Sometimes I'll let the sub end and get a 3 moths free with no credit card needed off a FB ad then turn in back on. I get people mentioning the streaming services but the issue I have is I sometimes go through or even spend a couple of days in areas where there's no or terrible phone service and the satellite radio is nice to have.

Congrats to the OP for getting the deal he wanted. I prefer to listen to podcasts. I listen to topics I want when I want. Heck, even Toyota has podcasts.

I've paid for Sirius in the past, but found that their playlists are too small. After a while what they have to offer is too repetitive. Also, it doesn't work very well in canyons which accounts for a lot of my driving.

Happy you got a deal that suits you and your needs.

I don't like their offerings. They play the same sh*t over and over and over again. Top-Hits, which
I'm not into. I hooked up onto Spotify on the family account and now I listen to what I want to listen to...
Exactly what I want, when I want, not what they want. Truth is the past few years I've been bored with it anyway.

I did this last week as well. told the person, 3/99 or turn me off, dont talk to me about anything else. 26 minutes later, I had 3 for 99, plus fees, for me it was 120 and change. Ski

What level comes with 3/99? I really only listen to Howard Stern and NFL if I’m driving while a game is on but HS is only on the platinum level or what it’s called.

I received 2 years for $120 plus tax for the Platinum or whatever you want to call it. Took forever and their customer service is terrible. If I didn’t drive through areas with no cell service I’d have already cancelled. But alas mid America strikes hard.

True, but when offroad there is no cell signal, plus you can only download so much music with any of the paid music apps. Sirius is great if you have the need. The sound quality is borderline garbage though.

I refuse to play their games, not worth my time, there’s so many much better options.
But, if you’re happy, I’m happy, so enjoy your tunes!

That's why I'm on Slacker. It's not just playlists that are downloadable, but entire stations. (I hate playlists). I start a station based on what artists or genres I like, whether I want it to stay with the hits or dive into the deep cuts, and whether I want the DJ and/or news breaks turned on or off. It generates music for me and will cache hours of it to my phone. I've gone on 7 day camping trips 100% offline and out of service, and it only starts to get repetitive on day 5 or so.

(Except once. There's one road trip I got a glitch and it wanted to inject Fleetwood Mac into every 3rd song. So I switched it to country. Fleetwood Mac. 1950's cocktail hour. Fleetwood Mac. Acoustic. "Here's an unplugged Rumors." :annoyed: We still talk about that trip. Badlands national park, with Fleetwood Mac. But normally, it plays a huge variety.)

I'm paying 10/month for the full-service fancy tier, but its worth it. (They have a mid-range tier for 5 bucks too.) Higher sound quality and bigger variety than satellite. No negotiations and a one-button press to quit, without hassles. Not getting hassled by the legion of call centers and email spammers, that alone is worth the price. :D
