My trial ran out 10 months ago and I still get a couple of emails per week. Now that Slacker upped the price for the subscription that lets you download music on Wi-Fi.... I'm actually considering sat radio again.

Same here. Then I ripped my radio antenna off on a wheeling trip. A few months later they contacted me with some promotional offer, and I ended up re-subscribing with the online subscription bundled. Now I listen to Faction in the office.

I thought I'd miss it since my SR doesn't have it but honestly I don't miss it at all. I only listened to about 3-4 stations on there anyways. My politics radio does podcasts (Limbaugh, Levin, etc) so I just listen through my phone to those. I don't miss trying to haggle with some fool that can't speak English and puts me on hold every 2 mins. They're like robots, they read off sheets and you can tell because if you ask them a question they pause and then continue reading.lol

No. Had it for two years, reception was poor and so I cancelled. Months after the fact they charged a two year subscription to my credit card. Between their customer service and my banks it took a few hours of phone tag to set their "error" straight.

    LS1 swap with nitros.
I used to have XM before the truck. I started using Apple Music ($10/mon) and can listen to anything I want... albums, stations by genre, etc. the only down side is it pulls data on my phone... but work pays my plan so it works out for me.

I found them to be nice at first but as bad as regular radio after listening for a bit. Very short playlists on most stations and you end up hearing the same songs all the time. I pay for spotify premium instead and am much happier

Yea, I let my complementary subscription lapse and waited for them to contact me. Renewed for 5 bucks a month for next six months. Gotta watch out as they will auto renew you for the max amt at the end of those 6 months. Just call them and asked for their BEST promotion. They hate to lose customers.

I SOLVED the problems with my XM Radio Reception!

After 13 months of working with SiriusXM tech support to improve the reception in my area (New England - some may have heard there are users up here)...I was able to completely solve my reception problems today....I will miss some of the programming and convenience, but getting my money back and not having to call them again is a much bigger benefit.

I canceled my service, I recommend you do the same if you were as foolish as me to sign up, and I recommend you recommend to others the service is terrible.

I am not one to "slam" organizations, their customer support and tech teams are trained well and if this was my only option the price point is just a little high...but since I can't actually listen to a whole song or talk report without dropouts and they can't/won't fix the issue (how about a satellite repeater??? they've been around for, well 50+ years).

Please join me in boycotting SiriusXM on Tacoma. Now if I can only figure out how to delete the icon from the screen and the mode switch sequence.
    Thanks!

I have free XM again from now until the 28th or sometime around that.

WTF is playboy radio? Is that like buying the magazine for the articles?

After reading everyone's thoughts, I'll be doing the 6 month subscription via check.

Yeah. This is one of the few businesses I do NOT give my credit card to. They have, in the past, renewed my subscription without permission.
