Does anyone here subscribe to XM radio and do you find it worthwhile? Give me some examples of why you pay for what is already free. Thanks

I don't. If I were a truck driver, on the road constantly, it would be worth it. But I drive 12k per year.

    Too few to list.
I only do their 5-6 month deal for $25. I cancel after that but they really don't want to let you go so they keep extending the deal. Worth it for all the traveling that I do.

Spotify subscription is more worth the money to me. I've told the Sirius people this multiple times and they still bug me.

I had it when I first bought my truck for like 6 months, it's great for Music but I liked the Comedy stuff. It was the same ass lame loop reel everyday. Ipod it is for me.

I've been a Sirius/XM subscriber for years (was Sirius before the merger), and it's worth it to me. MUCH greater variety than I find on local FM, and no problems with having to find new stations on long drives when the station you were listening to fades :)

Plus, as a comedy fan, there's nothing on broadcast radio that can compete with the comedy offerings.
Even though I feel it's not as good as it was a few years ago, it's still worth it to me.

I've had satellite radio since XM first became available. I won't buy a vehicle that doesn't have it factory installed. I love it.

Depends on the station, but many are definitely uncut (RawDog FTW). In my experience, yeah, they do have times you catch them in a loop if you listen to the same station for a while, but I still find decent new stuff.

I thought I was bored of the radio playing the saaaaaame songs on repeat...then I heard XM radio and realized they do the same thing lol. Some of the shows are funny on XM, but for the most part, I don't think its worth it at full price. If I can do what DriverSound does, I might consider buying it after this free trial is up though..

I never pay the full price. I call and mention I would like to cancel. They usually give me 6 months for $24 and some change. Its worth around $5 a month to me.

I have it and like it. We go on trips a lot and I would not be without it. I've had XM for about 8 years. It cost me $99 a year. I renew every year for the same price. I know you can probably get it cheaper but I'm happy at $99, do hassle renews every year.

I enjoy XM. I haven’t even had my radio on AM or FM since I purchased my truck in July of 16.
    No problems at all.

nope, not worth the $15 a month to me. yes they have an introductory price but you have to remember to cancel it.
I just use the slacker radio app through entune. Works really well. better than pandora in my opinion and when you run it through the head unit it has no ads.

i pay like $11 or 12/mo for music only. but this is true that there's a lot of looping. still it's a decent deal since I'm often between cities and consider my cd's like a loop, too.
