    Antenna problem I think....

    newbie here- so be kind.

2010 Tacoma problem with sirus and blue tooth - sirus radio cuts out if a tree is anywhere in sight. People I call via cell phone on the blue tooth in the cab say I am breaking up badly... every other word - whether I'm in the city or on the road in the country....

my question is: Is ther a replacement antenna I need to install over the OEM antenna??? Or what is the fix ????

The bluetooth uses a separate antenna that doesn't relate to the serious radio. Is your tacoma still under warranty? If so I would have them check it out. You might have a bad microphone that is messing up the bluetooth and a bad antenna that is messing up your serious radio :notsure:.

I have heard that the new amplifier they put in the 2009+ jbl systems has caused a popping sound and as long as you're still under warranty toyota will replace it. You can read more about that -> here
