So, apparently I taught my car to do a new trick the other day. Taught it how to "rollover." So after insurance totaled it and paid off the loan, and bought me the salvage. I am left with a Loan free, paid off, dent with zero chassis damage.

My plan is to kick as much of the roof back up as I can, replace the fenders with some high clearance fiberglass ones, build a fairly tight roof rack to semi hide the top and pretend like i just a free ticket to "modify it until its broken"

in all reality I am wondering which fiberglass fenders to pick from for the front and the rear, I still want the flat rear fender tops, not the Baja bulge on the tops.

Also, any advice on semi-straightening the cab would be greatly appreciated:pout:

Salvage was 5007.62ish, they priced the value of the truck at just under 24k.

Glassworks has the flat top bed sides. They also sell all four corners in a package so you get a little deal on them.

I live 12 miles in the country on dirt roads, and with dirt roads comes the ability to drift... the last corner had been freshly graded, which is very rare. so I got the rear to break loose, then much to my surprise, the front followed. I walked away with a bruise on my collar bone from the seatbelt.

The glass works setup looks pretty sharp, I am also debating the Fiberwerks front fenders. I am just curious which ones go on the easiest and quickest. I have about a week off in a about two weeks and I am hoping to scramble and get it streetable ASAP. I live in Co, but work in ND, and this is my main transportation. I am also looking at picking up a mid to early 90's 4 runner or pickup to fill the transportation gap.

We can't drive salvaged trucks in nj until it is proven with receipts that it was repaired properly. Like everything else in nj it's a pain in the ass.
