3rd gens have a panel to access thier oil filter without dropping the skid plate. Other than that they should bolt up.

We could make an access port, and make it modular if that indeed does work, Im going to order an OEM one today to see if it just fits, even with the gargantuan fab fours front bumper, Im only assuming the previous shop didnt reisntall it as it wasnt compatible.

Seems like you could figure this out at your shop faster and easier. If you do so many lifted trucks you should have access to a Tacoma to borrow a skid plate. Grab one from another truck, try and dry fit it and go from there. Simple and then you don’t have to deal with all of us and our lack of “professionalism“.

Does the added diff. Drop installed with my 3” lift interfere with an added OEM skid plate?

Will it work with a 3” lift as asked above?

    Thanks,

If your customer feels like cutting up a $400 TRD skid plate, it can be done...
(Not my truck in the photo)

I have seen a few YouTube videos that also had this mod done on other 6” lifted Tacos

If you have a six inch lift why not just save your money for the host of other things you'll need?

Always humorous when people reply without reading the thread.

Because generally when you do that the customer comes back and brings you down the rabbit hole with him.

His truck is already finished for the most part, It feels like he was rushing the shop to finish it as he was moving up here. He found us, and wanted the other items buttoned up, hes headed back to texas to do the final portion of the move. We have his truck here, I talked him into the TRD Pro plate we had here to modify, thanks guys!
