June 22,2021 Update!!!: There has been enough interest that I am able to organize a Group Buy Rate for the Ok Expedition Skids, if interested please send me a message.

June 18,2021: As some of you know I organized a Ontario group buy a couple months back on rock sliders! It went very well and was able to save people a good amount.

Would any Ontario residents with 2nd generation 05-15 Tacoma and 3rd generation 16-21 be interested in a OK Expedition Skids Group buy? Depending on interest I will post the information on it

For those who don’t already know, Ok Expedition is located Kelowna, BC and there are the manufacture of aftermarket skids of the off-road community. Fully fabricated in Canada , made from 1/4 5052 Marine Grade Aluminum, gusseted and made with precision to make them fully bolt on to factory locations.

@ok_expedition Any word if you guys are making steel versions of your plates yet?

my RCI plates have been taken a beating and i've been considering replacing them in a year or 2s time. I'm not sure if i'm comfortable with aluminum after a few hits i had taken.

I own this set already, waiting for him to release the rear addition - very pleased with them, also a great dude in general/worth supporting.

I've owned steel skids and I'm really happy with the quality and durability of these aluminums. Also significantly easier to mount yourself, decent design, phenomenal welds/cuts. I have not tried to change my oil with them on yet, but it does look like it shouldn't be too much of a pain. The built in "door" seems perched a bit forward but still looks easy to access the filter.

Just a lil testimonial, 10/10 would buy again.

Does the skid plate kit work on 4runner? (should in theory) and does it work with factory trd engine skid plate?

We are still working towards the steel line of skid plates. If all goes well, we should be cutting the prototypes in July!

Thanks for the great review! We have our final prototype underway for the T-Case Skid Plate Kit, and will be going into production on these early July!

The 4Runner has a different mounting pattern and requires different Skid Plates. Check out website for more info on our 4Runner Kits! www.okexpedition.ca
