    :D

yeah I’ve bashed the shit out of the cradle. Not a problem. Don’t show Toyota/insurance else they’ll try to void your warranty or total the truck.

you’re fine. Hit it with a rattle can or roll on and good to go. I’m getting steel plates, the weight isn’t that much. Not like a bumper setup.

For fun this is what the rci stuff looks like after about a year of owning it and 15k miles. Some little stuff on the a arms and sub frame too but this was the brunt of it.

if you’re going to Offroad then get steel skid plates. I recommend BAMF as they’re 1/4” thick. Yes it will be heavy but you’ll have that peace of mind.

Also post your question on the regional forum depending on where you live- you may find that you live within driving distance of a reputable independent builder and will save a lot on the cost and for shipping and they might even do installations.

My RCI steel engine and transmission skid add 80 lbs (aluminum would be 40 I think). The transmission skid can attach catalytic converter guards (only aluminum available) for 25 more lbs.

I've beat the ever loving hell out of a full set of RCI skids and they have done their job excellently. And they're usually having a sale
