Hello all new here bought a truck with a King Suspension already installed. However it has a diff drop I wanted to know what proper hardware will be needed to add the TRD skid plate. Thanks in advance.

You'll probably be able to install the skid with the diff drop, but if not the easiest solution is to lose the diff drop since it isn't really necessary. If your lift is <2.5" (which it probably should be) you'll be fine without the DD.

I believe the lift is 3 inches or close to 3 inches do you think removing the diff drop would still be ok?

You could always reduce the preload on the Kings to drop the lift down a little. Lift on an IFS suspension will reduce your down travel so it's best not to max it out in any case.

If you do want to keep it at 3" and remove the diff drop look into the boot slide mod. You only need to do the inner CV boots and it keeps the fins from rubbing each other and ultimately ripping the boots.

I agree with what you just said I might have to go down a bit to gain the extra travel and remove the diff drop.
