I am looking for a replacement skid plate for my Tacoma that will allow easier access to the oil filter. Not looking for anything too expensive. Any suggestions?

TRD Pro has an access door for the oil filter.

It’s hard to imagine it could be made any easier. You could remove the sheet metal splash guard and leave it off. Cut a hole in it?

my RCI Skid Plate has pretty easy access when you remove the access door.

All have oil access ports. However, most people drop the plate regardless of access holes, because it's 6 bolts vs 4 and it allows a lot more clearance and maneuverability.

Unfortunately, there's no such thing as cheap armor right now. The TRD Pro with a discount code is probably your best bet right now.

Good luck! And welcome to TW.
