For a couple weeks now I've had a "Preference List" in at the local dealer. BRB, DCSB, TRD Sport, 4x4, Nav, tow package. Didn't sound that exotic to me, but... being the end of the model year, they've haven't found one yet, and hopes were fading.

They found one that is coming to another dealer in the region has everything I want, plus it has the skid plate. Closest I'll ever get to "off roading" is if I put the truck on the lawn when I wash it. But okay, its only about $200.

Question for the forum - does this skid plate interfere with normal maint? That is, do they have to pull it off to do a simple oil change?

No, but helps to remove it when you change the front diff fluid.
