So I'm looking at getting some skids for my 98. Anyone have some experience with Skid Row? From my research they seem to be the best. I was looking at Bud Built initially due to the cost, but the Skid Row seems to be a bit more advanced in design (including countersunk bolts). Any experiences with either?

I've known and went wheeling with the owner...many many years ago. His name is Eric Koote. My truck (96) was test fitted with one of the first transfer case skids (again, this was probably back around 2000-2001 ??). He's been around a very long time and knows his stuff.

I never personally ever had a set of his skids - other than the prototype. I never wheeled the 96 like I could have. I did own at least one of his skids on the jeep. It did exactly as expected and I couldn't complain.

If it were me...it'd boil down to cost and overall design and how you like it and/or how its installed. His products are just as good as the rest in terms of function and quality.
