Sliders look sick Skidooman, sorry to hear about your pup...
Great looking build, I have been tossing around with going white on my Relentless front bumper, what coating did you use and is it steel or aluminum? Considering armor for the rear? or are you going to wait for another accident, lol.

Thanks, my bumper is steel, and it's powder coated. This spring I will be buying a rear. I want a high clearance, but my wife told me no way we are cutting up a new truck. So unless something were to happen to the bedsides, I will just buy a regular plate rear. A full set of skids will be spring time too.

Are you going with one of Erics rear bumpers, I was very happy with mine, I just got it the other day.

Probably, I really like my front. We'll see how patient I am feeling when it comes time to order.

Went out and did some deer scouting and wheeling yesterday. Not anything technical at all. One spot could have gotten a slider, but it was narrow, pretty steep and off camber, and I was by myself. It could have been a breeze, or could have got real bad real fast. So I turned back. Got only one decent pic, and then of course some flexed out poser shots.

    Nice shots man!

Hey, was it difficult to have your truck aligned properly after you installed the UCAs?

    Thanks.
I will preface this by saying, in my opinion you cannot get a good alignment in this town. So no. I set my caster with the star washer to what is recommended in the instructions, pulled the upper ball joint all the way out and torqued it down. Its close to within spec, but not all the way. All they did was set the toe. They didn't adjust anything on the ucas to try to get it in better spec. Its A west coast chain, and they are only interested in getting people in and out a long as its close enough. Not taking the time to figure something out and do it right.
One of these days when I can get to Reno or SLC I will find a shop that can do it right.
    /end rant.

Good to know, I think I remember someone in the Reno thread being referred to Reno vulcanizing.. So I'll try them out and let you know. I will also make sure to get the before and after spec sheet.

Put some miles on the truck over the weekend. About 175 of dirt, nothing technical, didnt even use 4wd. It was good to get out just the wife and I though. Also adopted a new dog yesterday. A few pics.

This pic was taken in the same spot as one I took the second day I had the truck. Thought that was kind of cool.

Thanks. He's got some learning to do. Doesnt really know any commands. He is learning though, and he gets along with all the other animals so thats the biggest plus.

Thanks guys, haven't seen anything at all, but I haven't been able to get my butt out of bed at a decent time either.

I feel ya. Between work and my wee one, I don't have much time to do much of anything now.. Let alone hunting.

I'm putting you in charge of organizing a winter run! You have to know some decent trails out there for a nice get together and snow wheeling! And if we can nail a date down early enough I'm sure we can get a group together for a true north run!
