Skids have made it to the North East.

Yes I am in Knox, no plans to head to Nash, at least not before prolly August.. I will continue to watch this forum, and if I can help I will!

 

It's a day's drive, but not too bad. I drive to DC a few times a year. We would definitely have to spend a night there though

More likely is that I'd bring it to Knox, but I don't know who gets it from Knox to VA.

 

I can pick up in blacksburg area and run it to david up north

@BigMacMcCoy And I are tentatively scheduling a meet up tomorrow to transfer the skids to me. Then hopefully the following the weekend I can make my way to @fatfurious2 and drop them off with him.

Seeing them in the 4Runner makes me realize how big they are

 

It went out the window when I weighed the trailer now it’s just crossing my fingers hoping I make it.

 

What's funny is they seem smaller than my 2nd gen skids to me, but it has been a while since I've messed with those.

Tentative plans

@Newlife will meet up @fatfurious2 this weekend, getting the skids to Virginia.
Other option
I haven’t looked at a map yet, but @RUSSELLTACO said he could meet in the Blacksburg area and the get them to @fatfurious2.

 

My plan as of right now is drain and fill diffs Saturday (500 mile break in is over) drive to Kingsport Sunday around noon and drop of the kids. Then head up to Bristol area and meet up with whomever to drop the skids off.
