Have you had any balancing issues with the Wildpeaks in this size?

My tire guys didn't mention anything when they were initially mounted and I haven't had any issues since then. They have gotten considerably more expensive compared to when I bought them 4 years ago. At that time they were a fair bit cheaper than the competing brands.

    Thank you all!

I'm a big Dobinsons fan and will be ordering this week or next, their IMS coil overs with C59-134 coils (2.25 without bumper/winch weight & 2" with) and the IMS rear shocks. For the rear leafs, I'm planning on the General Spring HD packs to net 1.5" over stock in the rear.

You guys sold me on the 235's, strongly considered 255/85/16's but don't want to go all in with a re-gear as I'm actively messing with my 4runner as well. I'm torn between the G003's and the BFG HD Terrains. Good buddy is running the HD terrains on his 200 series and has nothing but praise (wheels regularly at Uwharrie).

I just looked up those BFG HD Terrains, they look great! Probably way more than I'd need, but it says they are mud/snow rated, and I'd rather have a stronger tire. It appears they're available in 235/85/16 as well.

I'm going to look into the lift options you mention as well, thanks.

I'm liking all the choices and opinions so far.

    Dobinsons and UCA's ordered.

I'm leaning hard towards the Yokohama G003's as they clock in right at 32" proper.

[QUOTE="Peekoost, post: 29259930, member: 435218" I don't think the KO2's have the snow rating, but I'll double check.

You are correct, I looked up the 235/85/16 and appears it has the snow peak rating, or whatever they call it.

Beautiful truck! I love the green. What cap is on there? I've been trying to find used ones, but that is proving very difficult. New ones seem to run around $3000.

Yeah I gave up on used after looking for a bit. It's an ARE CX, fully specced and installed was about $2500. (Windoors with sliding centers, carpeted interior, solid front window) Worth the price in the end for me. *That was in I believe 2020ish, prices may be different now.

Thats the one I was quoted on, it was about $2700.00 + tax. A few different options though. I'll keep looking for a used one for now, other wants/needs for the truck first.

I don't think I've seen a regular cab with a camper before. Awesome truck!

I run and vote 235/85 KO2's. On my 3rd set. I've had the stock size and other brands. Aired down they do fine heavily loaded on washboard roads and squish well for beaches. In my usage, they are the best non-snow specific tire for snow. If it's really icy, buy a studded, dedicated snow tire on steelies for the winter. Durable and reasonably quiet. I think they are only load range E in this size. Which is/has been fine with me. I drive 25,000 + a year. I replace them every two years. <edit> I'll add that the truck is now on OME 881 springs up front and an additional 3 leaves in the rear. Still has the overload spring. No rubbing.

Another vote for 235/85 KO2's. I'm about done with my 3rd set. They are amazing for how I use them. Mostly desert dirt/gravel roads, a little red rock crawling, a little sand/beach driving, and a ton of snow in Northern Utah winters. Aired down to 18-20 psi they are incredible off-road. I've never had a flat. The 3 peak M+S rating is a requirement for me.

I now have newer TRD wheels so they look really skinny. I think I want to go one size bigger when these wear out which should be only a couple months away. I think I'm gonna go with 255/85R16 this time around along with 4.88 gears.
