I have ordered billstein 6112/5160 and planning on getting 255/80/17 Toyo open country rt trail and scs fa 16s that are 17x8.5 with a -10 offset and I’m wondering if anyone has ran this size tire with the same wheel specs and if they have had any rubbing issues

Per Toyo, 6.5-8.5” rim width, recommend 7.0” for that tire size.

It should fit on the wheel fine, but... The more important question might be this.

"Is it is more likely to debead when offraoding and aired down?".

I’m not planning on doing any real off-roading only class 6 roads and never airing down

This is the issue with skinnies you really should be on a 7-7.5" wheel tops and the aftermarket offerings rarely come that narrow. Will it work sure but it is not going to fit ideal just like when I had 265's on a 9" wide wheel.

Ya I know I should have a less wide wheel but I can’t find any that narrow in a 17 inch wheel I was mainly concerned with the fitment on the vehicle itself and rubbing

Check out the 4Runner TRD Pro wheels. Pretty good looking selection and narrow enough for your application.
