Help us out here. What year is it? How many miles on it? What maintenance or repairs have been done? At what mileage were those maintenance items or repairs performed? Were OEM parts used, etc. Give us the most info you can, help us... Help you.

My crystal ball is inoperable today due to sun spot activity and Jupiter's increasing gravitational pull.
If my crystal ball was operational today, I could read your mind and find out more about your truck. I would be able to get information like engine size, any modifications, last tune up, more detailed information about the problem besides " when truck is warm, it skips and when cold it doesn't, I don't know. " description.
We are the doctors, your truck is the patient.

-What do you mean by skipping? Like a misfire? Does the truck actually jerk, or is only an audible sound?
-Does it happen at idle, under load, low/high rpms?
-Do you have any CEL or any codes?
