If it won't be taller than the truck bed, I'd keep it. You can never have too much storage.

Broke down and got this a little early due to a killer sale for November. Now I need to hurry up and get this trailer done to mount it and enjoy the hard work!

haha welp, the fuel pump is in. I think im going to install the cams, thermostat, and UCON next. Let it run about a week, make sure the systems all check out then do the actual S/C. Should all be done in December at the latest. I was just looking up the install for the gear/therm/ucon to make sure I had the tools and everything I need. Hope that doesnt turn into a pain, and the marks on the timing chain are all still visible

Do you have any intake or exhaust mods? I'd be interested in your butt Dyno assessment of just the ucon results on a N/A stock 4.0.

Just the URD TCAI. As for exhaust, only swapped the muffler out for a Wicked Flow 13"

The only place I could see "gaining" anything with the ucon is solely off the exhaust cams changing when they release the exhaust, for more power. Not sure if Ill be able to tell a difference without the increase in air going in though???

Install it already! I didnt use the timing marks by the way. I used a paint pen to mark them.

yea I saw in Gadgets install instructions he mentioned that method, which I really like. I guess in that regards, its pretty full proof. You would still need to make sure the main pulley is turned to "0" though correct? For TDC?

damn...I'm probably looking WAY too far into the install...and scared I'm gonna fuck the timing up or something. Which is what I usually do; over think things haha. I'm also hoping the stock gear comes out easy and I don't have to fight the chain

I was terrified to do the gear install. Totally terrifying. Then when It was all opened up I wasn’t worried about it

...cuz theres no going back haha

Good, thats normally how the projects go. Did you replace the gaskets and everything? I got new oem ones that I plan on installing, except for the plenum. I'm gonna replace that one once I actually put the SC on.
