    Long overdue update. The trailer is complete with the tent on top. Works great and is very stable in the fully locked position and down for travel.

    EDIT: that bend mark on the top left corner of the trailer must be a reflection off the cars windshield??? There is no dent or bowing of the metal. I didn't notice that in the pic on my phone.

    Haha thanks man! And yes the 2 2x4s were my initial plan. I turned the bottom one on its side and it doesn’t bend anymore haha. I may get a 4’ piece of channel steel but it’s only used to get it in the locked position...so I’ll prob forget about the steel and keep with the wood; it works lol
