Good for you and the staff. But I dunno, he's got how many actual sales under his belt with no issues. I genuinely think he just doesnt GAF, and is working on the parts a teeny bit at a time, whenever he feels like it. As well as doesnt understand how much trouble he could potentially be im over this

    Too many to list now.
I PMed a few folks Skygears number, for those who need it, I do have one that worked in the last 6 months or so. :notsure: I normally wouldn't give out a customers phone number like that but these seem to be extenuating circumstances.

I never liked the guy and I met too much of "his kind" over the years and nearly all ended up to be a bunch of dishonest scammers

Not that I have a dog in this race but wtf is up with a member in here thinking it's funny that any other member(s) or person(s) were fucked over by another member. Just saying send that prick on a vacation. Enough people have had enough of that shit already.

Now for a more serious post how much money has been lost. How many people affected. I can't afford to get you all back your money but I'll be happy to donate something to get some of you some of your money back. I've been in your shoes with another former member on here so I know how it feels

I'd be in for chipping in a few bucks. Should OP start a new thread or update OP so we know how much we need to raise.

I'd like to say that the offers to have a fund raiser of some sort aren't necessary for me but I am humbled by the spirit of community that I constantly find here. I've tried to always support registered vendors as well as industrious forum members by spending with them. I understand that kids need to go to school and that the price of milk goes up from time to time but my frustration comes when someone values your money, but has no integrity when it comes to the obligation that comes along with it.

When someone has given you money for an agreed upon service or product and you ignore your obligation as well as their attempts to contact you to get updates then you aren't struggling with time tables, raw material vendors, or family issues, you are stealing. One excuse I saw earlier from @skygear in this thread was that there was only $50.00 profit for 8 hours of work. That's not an excuse to steal, the fault there lies within yourself for not taking the time to accurately value your own work. When I make poor decisions about the value of my service I don't blame the customer and find an excuse to make it their fault. I accept the responsibility and take my medicine. And once I've learned the true value of my work I simply adjust the pricing for future customers.

I've contacted @skygear numerous times and have never received any sort of reply. Nothing. Yet I see posts and pictures from him all over the web showing off shiny new gadgets, expensive recreational travel, and his consideration of new vehicles. Seeing this after polite requests for updates goes beyond frustration after all the promises that were made as to delivery schedule. I've dealt with others here that couldn't hit their projected delivery dates but they simply let me know that they were running behind and tried to give me accurate updates. If @skygear would have done the same I would have never said a word about it to anyone.

While I have the mental midgets set to ignore I do appreciate the moderators attempt to keep the thread moving in a productive manner. And of course, if I am contacted by @skygear or made whole I will gladly update this thread to indicate as much.

Again, thanks for the support of your fellow forum members, even though I've only personally met two TW members I really do feel like I'm part of an impressive community here at TacomaWorld.

I just messaged him on facebook. I sent him another email yesterday too. I haven't had any contact with him in a long time. I know things happens and there are delays but a little bit of contact would of been great.

We will be leaving this thread open only to receive further member names of who has not received his product, or a refund. Or updates from members that are already listed.

    No more trolling.

I'd be willing to chip in; whether it's s bit of cash/PayPal or whatever the preferred payment method is...

One thing I think might be cool would be some Amsteel winch stuff - if others are agreeable.

Glad to see Moderators get involved - although Skygear has clearly demonstrated that he's regressing to a criminal now...

    Good luck!

I got my box just not my switchbacks, I definitely do not want any money, I would however consider donating to those who didn't get boxes.

Only productive comments in here now. Staff is trying to help out to get some answers and resolve.
Hold off on the donation thing a little longer to see if we can get some movement with skygear.

I didn't get my box yet I don't want anything donated either cause it's not yall fault in this case I do appreciate the mod for trying to get to the bottom of this. Thanks just looking for answers from sky as to the progress or the reason why he never responds to pms emails or messages on Fb. Then from there maybe I can get a refund or a fuse box it's not a big deal it's just the point of the matter I have already went a different way with my wiring due to the extended wait anyway. Thanks guys
