Well, my patience has run out. I'm hopefull that my payment will be refunded or I will eventually get the product and will re-sell it for no profit; but in the mean time I have found another option to go with so I can begin installing all the parts that have been sitting around waiting for my box. I'm sending an email to him next.
It's too bad, this kind of thing doesn't boost people's confidence in supporting small vendors on the forum.
(I will also post this in the other thread on the subject to try and cover all the bases)

I was one who ordered product in mid January and finally received it in mid-May.

I was pushed to the limits of my patience with Skygear and his lack of communication but continued to give him the benefit of the doubt, wanted to support a small start up vendor, TW member, etc...

I had typed up a lengthy and detailed draft outlining many frustrations... it wasn't a "butthurt" message, it was nothing but facts (skygear shipping promises, dates, etc).

In regards to your quote above: skygear said that it was too time consuming to keep up with the PMs/emails, build product, still be a family guy etc. In that same time frame he had over 300 posts on TW in threads ranging from his own build, the big brake product he's pushing, mid travel BS, on board air, setting up a group buy for lockers, etc.

I could completely understand if you are overwhelmed and having a hard time keeping up with communication but to post over 300 times on TW while claiming that is a bit hypocritical.

I have no dog in this fight but was thinking the same thing. To the point that he has time to install new LCA's and the new brake kit.

Ah. You live within driving distance. In order to be a team player, I nominate your house as the staging point for the assault on this guy's house by all the people who have a bone to pick.

Colin, please have chips, salsa, and cold unsweetened ice tea at the ready.

    Raises hand.

I'll drink very lightly sweetened tea, but usually if the tea is pre-sweetened its far too sweet for me.

Colin, to avoid a mass confusion please add sweet iced tea to that list. Thanks.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
I'm ok with non sweet tea as well. We in the PNW don't care much for the extra sweet tea stuff.

Don't they have beer infused with tea?

I like my tea with mint added to it and poured into a class with crushed ice.
