Basically, you attach the +/red wire to each of the hanging leads underneath the boxes. -/black you can attach anywhere you prefer near the accessory/ ground. OR I can put a 3rd buss for things to be attached.

Makes it so you can cut all the relays off your current harnesses from accessories. Then these act in the same manner that a stock fuse/relay box would.

As of late, I will be stockpiling most of the new mods. Removing some of the other wiring and things I have run in or around the frame.

i'm not sure how much Toyota will tolerate when I get the frame done. Tapped it with the pickle fork and a large 1.5" squared piece flew off. Thick chunk.

I still want BBK (Big Break Kit) yet I know I need a re-gear first.

Planned for what I want, thats 4.88's front and rear, air lockers, and the whole 3rd member.

Finally removed the 1.25" Black SpiderTrax Wheel spacers. Replaced the wheel lugs with LONG ones and dropped in a .25" spacer to clear the caliper. With the BBK, I wouldn't need this and the stopping power would be better with these heavy wheels and tires I have on.

In transit to me right now are the CMRB (Cab Mount Relocation Bracket) http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2n...-body-mount-relocate-kit-redgoatfab-haws.html

Skygear...question for you since you have the Frontrunner rack. I noticed you mentioned getting Rigid 20" lights for the sides of your rack. What's your opinion on the Front Runner 10" light bars other than the obvious fact that the Rigids would be Hella brighter? The reason I was looking at the Front Runner 10's is I don't plan on using them to light up the terrain while driving, but only to provide Camp Site lighting as I think they seem sufficient for that purpose as well as they come with mountable brackets for the rack itself...

Honestly, I haven't had hands on with them. I'l tell you what though. I would just check on pricing with all the major brands and see where the pricing falls. Sometimes out lighting (and other mods) serve more than one purpose. I would rather have MORE light than less. Not to mention warranty.

I would imagine they are a quality product knowing that FR would strive to be one of the premium outfitters out there. I hold them in as high regards as ARB.

The reason I went with 20" on the sides on my rear rack was the distance between the mounting bolts and legs.

I like the multi mounting surfaces of the rack. On out trucks, because of the mounting brackets on the cab, you are unable to mount LED bars underneath. Some manufacturers should design a lower profile heatsink for the side mounting of led lights.

Remember this too. IF someone looks at the LED bars, they will be temp blinded reguardless of the output.

Just for some reference. You can call or shop all the vendors on here and Baja Designs is here too.

    FR 10" 2400 lumens $209
    RI SR2 10" 5625 lumens Diffused $379
BD Stealth 10"4200 lumens Wide $329

You want to be able to light the camp area and a little farther for safety sake. If you have a vice and a mallet, you can bend your own brackets. The rack is drivable too. The 2 tracks on the sides are for accessories to be drilled.

Only ting that concerned me about side mounting the lights was if they were protected or not. Lots of the driving I do offered is in the woods or densely wooded areas. Would hate for a branch or trunk of a tree to swipe your lights off.

Plans are for some "pods" caddy cornered on the rear edges of the rack able to pivot to provide additional area lighting. Going to use some nylon spacers/ washers so they can move without damaging anything.

    Thanks Skygear!

Yeah, it basically comes down to reputation/warranty and quality I guess. Looks like the price almost correlates to lumen output...lol

You're a true gentleman and a great sounding block. I value your input...:)

Oh yeah...you mentioned having the 20" lightbars on the sides? Are they installed or on your wish list? I'd like to see close ups of the mounting solution for our rack if you have any pics... Thanks...:)

Thanks man. Its your rig, but if you want some fair pricing, I bet you could get some of the rigid or Baja in the same price point. Ask BenBacher on here what he could do on them for you on rigid. If you need links let me know.

Those look awesome. Thanks for your time as always! I did notice that your lights are on the rear Front Runner rack as mine will be on the cab rack. Not sure if the mount points are the same, but I'm sure I could get something to work...:) Get some rest! Chat with ya later on this...

I try to keep the weight down. never happens though. i have a couple doubles in there. hard to make decisions on some of the combo wrenches too.

Great pics and mounting! I assume those pics are just of the side lights? Do you have a front shot of the 40"? I assume that with a 40" bar in the front then the wind deflector would not be able to share that space?

Unless you do a 40" single row, it won't fit underneath. My plans are to eliminate the windscreen. How I plan to do that is two 20" bars and a 10" bar. Mounting the 10 inch bar in the center, then putting the two 20"s at an angle. All in single row and using amber light. Or something similar to that effect. I'll dig up the pictures of the 40 inch mount also

I drilled the holes and mounted the nuts in the skinny channel hoping for a more difficult maneuver if someone tried to remove them without my permission.

Anything longer than a 40" in the front on these racks will stick out on the sides and be virtually impossible to mount.

Could do a radius on the windshield. or do the roof mounts in conjunction with the rack for a 50".
