This kit comes with front struts that lift 3 inches and new shocks in the back with a 1.5 inch add a leaf. Would this make the truck ride any different or affect towing capabilities and also would I have to get new UCAs or do a diff drop...or anything else?
    Thanks

I actually was just looking at a kit like this, same brand and all. I am not sure because I am fairly new but the way I understand it is that besides the kit, you would just need to have an extended brake line. I don't think you need UCAs unless you feel the truck having problems.

Not sure though, I'd check around for some other answers, I am pretty new. :)

So I looked around a little more and this is what I found:

UCAs do not affect the ride, but DO affect the handling. Getting new UCAs will add castor to the truck that the suspension took away. Too much castor and the truck's handling feels tight; not enough and it becomes loose. Whether or not you need it depends on set up and personal preferences.

Try aligning it first and find out how it handles, if it doesn't handle how you would like it to then invest in UCAs.
(Info posted by Splitbolt, I do not know how to quote from another thread yet)

Thanks for all the info. I'm trying to decide if this or bilsteins and a add a leaf would be a better option
