I realize this an old thread, but @NiteTaco did you come up with a solution for the squeak?

@toy 2 did you ever write that review?

I'm looking at buying these leaf packs through Auto Anything (on sale for $186 per with free shipping).

In my experience the springs may net you 1" over an old sagging stock set. I ended up adding an 1.5" add a leaf to the skyjacker set to get some lift out of the springs. With the add a leaf the springs ride to rough for my liking. For the price they are a good deal but they are a soft ride spring so expect them to sag when you haul anything in the bed. If I was to do it over again I would just buy a good set of 3" springs

Thanks for your reply. That's good info to have. Would you say they are worse than stock when loaded down?

I would say the same as stock if not a little better.

Sorry I just saw your post. I ended up going to Lowe's and bought two sections of the industrial vinyl floor molding (obviously in the flooring section) and cut strip to slide in between the leafs. Works great so far and IIRC, it only cost me about $5. I separated the leafs with some pry bars and cleaned it up real good with a pressure washer. No squeaks since and they still ride awesome with my added weight from Camper shell and other crap I haul around. Still sitting how I like it too...pretty even with a very mild forward rake.

Thanks for the info. Vinyl flooring product is a great idea. That should be very durable. After reading about all the squeaks with the OME Dakars and some with the Skyjackers, I got curious about the how Toyota prevents there leaf packs from squeaking. I noticed on my stock 3 leaf pack that there is a strip of what looks like a rubber or vinyl product between the ends of the leaves. I might have to look at that a little closer when I pull the leaf packs out.
