Hey everyone I know there are a lot of threads out there on loads and tires but someone mentioned something to me about E vs SL and I wanted to hear from everyone thought about it since I couldn’t find anything specifically addressing it. I’m currently trying to decide between Wildpeaks in E or SL. I’m driving highways and roads everyday for my job from job site to job site so there is a lot of road miles during my day however I like to go on some easier trails And maybe eventually get on some more intense stuff but I do a lot of driving out to areas to hunt and fish in the mountains. So my debate has been between SL and E. I just talked to a guy at an off-road shop and he said to do Es and to air it down a little and the ride quality won’t be as stiff and that the tread will last longer than on an SL. Didn’t know if that’s true or what other people think about it. Thanks guys

SL v E is one part of the equation. those load ranges drive different in different sizes. do you have a size chosen?

i run 30" E's, these are the hardest and least compliant tires you'll find here for this truck, they are at one extreme end. but if these E's were 33"+, they would be dramatically less firm compared to the 30's. so choose side and load range together for your application.

I’m going with 265/75/16 so I can keep stock right now

in that case i would not recommend E's for you unless you are specifically going for that kind of ride.
