Good luck with this awesome build man, my buddy doing the exact same thing with his xj except a 14 bolt rear. You will have alot of problems trying to tuck those 40s at bump. Like ALOT haha. He ended up running 38" and cutting out all the front fenders and bobbing the front with tubes....just remembered he narrowed the axle width, so if you run stock width you should be ok.

Edited for spelling and remembering lol

Me and the family went out yesterday to the pumpkin patch. Was a great time. As you can tell the little man was enjoying something himself :anonymous:

I've got a few tricks up my sleeve. With 1 tons they should stick out past the body far enough. If my buddy did it on his Tacoma I'm sure I won't have problems with this jeep.

Cut the sheet metal (rocker panel) and install 2x6 in that area? I think I've seen a f'd up fj at URE before with it. At least they had theirs cut there.

We cut the rocker panel then put a 2x4 in there. Some go bigger and do a 2x6 or something like that. But then attach legs to it and weld it to our frames just like sliders.

    Yeah that's what I'm doing. Fucking 2x6 isn't cheap as I thought.
